CEM Solutions (UK) Ltd: A straightforward approach to emissions monitoring

The Environmental Solutions & Services Expo (ESS) is being held at the NEC, Birmingham on the 16th-17th September and this year welcomes CEM Solutions to the exhibitor floor with their latest range of emission monitoring solutions.

CEM Solutions offer products and services to cover all aspects of monitoring emissions to air and process control. From fully compliant MCERTS systems for Chapter III and Chapter IV IED applications including power stations, biomass plants and waste incinerators, to single burst bag monitors for quarries, foundries, wood processing plants, and other local authority Part B regulated sites such as crematoria.

Since incorporation in 2012, CEM Solutions have provided systems as well as straightforward technical advice, to meet the UK’s emissions monitoring requirements. Having worked in the industrial emissions industry since 1999, the company’s founder Mike Lloyd recognised the need for providing system and service solutions for emissions monitoring based on a client’s specific needs and following that up with an ongoing dedicated, reliable and robust service plan.

The company specialises in installing and commissioning bespoke turnkey systems, either fully containerised or built in-house to client specifications. As an independent business, CEM Solutions has the flexibility to design, manufacture and install solutions to suit the requirements of each customer. The company offers a complete portfolio of MCERTS approved products for Emissions Monitoring and has access to a wide range of analysers for Process Control.

As trusted suppliers of industry leading CEMS and process instrumentation, CEM Solutions are well recognised in the industry. Distributors of key manufacturers’ O2 analysers to the crematoria sector and representatives for quality gas conditioning suppliers, the company has built a reputation of providing the most appropriate products for a broad range of applications.

Additionally, CEM Solutions also service a variety of different manufacturers’ equipment on industrial processes which vary in size from small foundries, through to large waste incineration plants. Its customer focused service support ranges from annual calibration visits to monthly/quarterly contracts with 24-hour call-out support on-site.

CEM Solutions firmly believe in providing a great service and delivering on its promises, and with an ever-growing customer base throughout the UK and ROI, the company is widely recognised as a leading service provider in the sector.

ESS is where the industry’s top players unite to drive tangible environmental progress, so CEM Solutions inclusion is no surprise. As the leading event dedicated to services for the circular economy, net-zero transitions, sustainability, and biodiversity, ESS brings together pioneering solutions and expert perspectives that are transforming how natural resources and sustainable development policy across the UK and Europe is managed.

With almost sixteen thousand high-level attendees in 2025, ESS gives attendees the chance to see breakthrough technologies in action, hear the latest policy updates from leading voices, and source the products and services that will shape their organisation’s next move.

As one of the few emission management companies present at this year’s ESS, CEM Solutions participation offers a unique opportunity for customers old and new to become part of the company’s expanded network and learn more about its ground-breaking solutions.

For Sales Manager James Gilbert, this year’s show is a chance for CEM to demonstrate and share how impactful its solutions can be in a particularly niche market, “As a well-established independent company, we want to communicate the breadth of our scope. We operate in a very specific market and ESS is the perfect platform for us to meet clients and share our vision. We are one of very few independent suppliers in this field, so we can build complete turnkey systems to match our customer’s needs, utilising the most suitable equipment from both a technical and value perspective.”

2026 marks a major step forward for ESS, with brand-new features designed to reflect where the environmental and resource management sector is heading next. From addressing critical workforce challenges, to accelerating innovation and giving visitors an up-close view of the technology transforming operations on the ground, these new additions bring fresh energy, insight and opportunity to the show floor.

CEM Solutions are poised to take centre-stage as part of the revolutionary new approach at this year’s show. Its innovative approach to emissions management, coupled with its reputation for impeccable customer service, is only strengthened by the company’s independence.

As environmental challenges continue to mount in industrial settings, CEM Solutions is cementing its place as a leader in a highly-specialised and complex field, and its presence at ESS 2026 is a clear reflection of the impact the company is not only having on emissions but on the sector as a whole.
